Habits Of Highly Successful Practitioners

This presentation represents a “best practices” for successful digital fittings. With 30 years of observing thousands of fittings at hundreds of offices throughout the United States, a pattern of seven consistent strategies that are employed by the most successful practitioners emerged. These practitioners have the highest binaural rates, closure rates, fewest remakes and returns and consistently fit the highest end technology. These seven strategies will be presented and will demonstrate how they can be incorporated into any dispensing practice.

Speaker Information
Ken LaFerle is the Director of Educational Services for Beltone Electronics. In this position, Ken leads a team of trainers responsible for educating and disseminating information about product, fitting software, counseling, fitting, follow-up, product troubleshooting, and working with the hearing-impaired for the Beltone network of practitioners in North America. He has been with Beltone for 30 years holding various positions including regional manager and director of audiology. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at the College of DuPage. Ken has written several articles in national trade publications and has presented at over 100 state and national meetings as well as Canada, Mexico, Denmark, Spain, Brazil, South Africa, India, Auwstralia, New Zealand, and Japan. LaFerle holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology and is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist.
