THAA is a state approved provider of continuing education for licensed hearing aid dispensers in Texas. All of the CE hours provided by the association are approved for license renewal by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

The association provides 20 hours of continuing education each year. 15 of those hours are offered at the THAA annual convention, which is usually conducted in June. And each fall, the association provides its members 5 free hours of continuing education in Houston and Dallas at the THAA Fall CE Program.

2007 Fall CE Program

THAA would like to thank Gail Grant and Phonak for their contribution to this year's THAA Fall CE Program. Over 120 members attended Gail's presentation of The Power of Micro vs. Traditional BTEs: Have We Forgotten Something in Dallas and Houston in November. Gail's presentation was a program she customized for the association at the request of the THAA Board of Directors. The program received rave reviews from the members who attended. Our thanks to Gail for her making our 2007 Fall CE Program such a huge success!
