Convention Room Rate
& Block
The THAA convention discounted room rate is $129 per night - single or double occupancy, king or double queen beds. The charge for additional persons above double occupancy is $25.00/person/ night. There is no additional charge for children using existing beds.

May 15 Is Cut-Off Date For Convention Discount Room Rate
The convention room rate of $129/night is available through May 15 or as long as these rooms remain available in the THAA room block. Only a certain number of rooms have been blocked at the $129 rate. Once the $129 room block is sold, or after May 15 (whichever comes first) the $129 discount rate will no longer be available. So, we encourage you to reserve your hotel room now - even if you have not yet made a final decision to attend the convention.

How To Make Room Reservations
We urge all attendees to make their hotel room reservations online through the THAA reservation portal rather than calling the hotel directly - it's easier and much faster! To make a room reservation online, click here - enter your arrival and departure dates - click Check Availability - and complete the information requested on the screens that follow. Simple - easy - and fast! This picture shows you a typical king bedroom at the Royal Sonesta Houston.

To reserve a room by telephone, you may call the hotel direct at 713-627-7600 and ask for Reservations. Be sure to tell reservations you are with the Texas Hearing Aid Association annual convention.

If for any reason you are unable to make a reservation over the dates you want, please contact the THAA staff immediately at 512-477-1991 for assistance.

Over the past few years, several telephone and email scams have surfaced in the meeting/convention industry. They involve third party providers who claim to be working for the event host to help with room reservations. Usually, these scams offer a lower room rate than the event group rate in order to steal your credit card information.
Please know that THAA DOES NOT EMPLOY ANY THIRD PARTIES TO HELP WITH ROOM RESERVATIONS. In fact, THAA does not get involved in making your room reservations at all - reservations are left up to each individual attending the convention. So, if you get a call from anyone who wants to help you with your hotel room reservations - HANG UP!
