Dispenser of the Year Award

Each year, the Texas Hearing Aid Association honors one of its members with the coveted THAA Dispenser of the Year Award. The award is given to the licensed hearing aid specialist who practices the highest standard of ethics when serving the hearing impaired of Texas.

2024 Dispenser of the Year

Christopher L. Bisel, BC-HIS, Owner, Bisel Hearing Aid Center

Chris Bisel, owner of Bisel Hearing Aid Center in Houston, TX, is board-certified in hearing instrument sciences. He is a third-generation hearing instrument specialist and a native Houstonian. Growing up in the hearing aid business has allowed him to witness many technology changes over his 35 years of fitting hearing aids. He is a former item writer for the National Board Certification Exam, a member of the International Hearing Society and Texas Hearing Aid Association, and the most recent Past President of the Texas Hearing Aid Association. Chris’s father, Gordon Bisel, facilitated the production of all the earmolds for radio communication for the NASA Space Program from the Gemini 5 mission through the first space shuttle mission.

We look forward to presenting the award at the THAA 2024 Annual Conference on June 21-22, 2024 in Plano, TX.
